MORTALITY
The following is a report of the interments in Rose Hill Cemetery for the
week ending Aug. 10:
Aug. 4th -- Emanuel Mallory, colored, aged 29 years, Consumption.
Aug. 5th -- Mary C. Glasson, white, aged 14 months, Diarrhea.
Aug. 9th -- James Dean, Jr., white age ___ disease ___
It will be seen by the above that there has been but three interments in
Rose Hill for the past week, and one of these was the interment of a
person who died out of the city. With the above facts before us we can
truly say that Macon is as healthy as any city in the Union.
