Little Albert Barnhill in Savannah Hospital
Albert Leo, the little three year old son of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Barnhill,
was taken sick Saturday night. His condition became serious Monday night
and he was taken to a Savannah hospital Tuesday morning. The little
fellow has influenzial meningitis, and reports from Savannah say that his
little life is slowly ebbing away. In Savannah with him are his father
and mother and a number of other loving relatives.
John T. Bennett, 89 years of age, owner of one of the largest plantations
in Wayne county and one of the best known citizens in that section, was
taken by death at an early hour Wednesday morning following a sudden heart
attack at his home near Jesup. The deceased is the father of Col. John W.
Bennett of Waycross, and Hon. O. R. Bennett of Atlanta.
