Deaths and Funerals
MELL
Mrs. Mollie P. Mell, widow of the late T. J. Mell, died at the residence
of Mr. R. O. Thomas, in Bellevue, Sunday night at 9:45 o'clock, after an
illness of one week.
Mrs. Mell was 74 years old, and had lived in Bibb county all her life.
She was the step-mother of Mrs. C. W. Newton and an aunt of Messrs. S. B.
and Robert Hynter, R. O. and H. J. Thomas, of this city.
The funeral services will be held at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. R. O.
Thomas in Bellevue this morning at 11 o'clock.
The interment will be at Rose Hill cemetery.
WELSH
Charles Alvin, the little son of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Welsh, died yesterday
morning at 9:45 o'clock at their home, twelve miles out on the Crawford
county road.
Charles was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Welsh and was just one week old.
The burial takes place today at 11 o'clock.
BATEMAN
Funeral services of the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Bateman were held
yesterday afternoon at their family residence, 111 Elm street.
Rev. Mr. Brazelton, pastor of the Christian Church, had charge of the services.
The interment was made at Cedar Ridge cemetery.
